Michigan Association of Police Organizations (MAPO) has issued their 2018 candidate and proposal endorsements for the General Election Tuesday, Nov. 6.

As of Thursday, Nov. 1, the latest polls have:

  • Debbie Stabenow with a 14 point lead over John James for U.S. Senate.
  • Gretchen Whitmer with an 11 point lead over Bill Schuette for Governor.
  • Dana Nessel with a 9 point lead over Tom Leonard for Attorney General.
  • Jocelyn Benson with a 7 point lead over Mary Treder Lang for Secretary of State.
  • Proposal 1 - Legalizing Recreational Marijuana - YES 55 percent, NO 40 percent.
  • Proposal 2 - Eliminating Gerrymandering - YES 57 percent, NO 39 percent.
  • Proposal 3 - Election Reform - YES 57 percent, NO 38 percent.
